Personal grants are a form of individual financial assistance that are not loans and recipients do not have to repay them. In cases of local, state or federal government personal grants, eligibility is not affected by age, income or race, and nearly anyone can apply. Personal grants can be used for a variety of legitimate personal needs such as mortgages, rent, groceries or clothing.
